Aga Kowalska is an artist and illustrator born and raised in Poland, now based in Lincoln, UK. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland, with a degree in painting.

She creates board games, puzzles, and children's books, and she is also an illustrator. She works in both digital and traditional media, often using scissors to create original scenes.

She loves to surround herself with handcrafted papers, textures, and colours that make up her work in her quiet studio.
