Bernard Jolivalt
Born in Paris in 1948, Bernard published his first short story illustrated with collages at the age of twenty in the magazine Planète, which was very well-known at the time. After several years traveling in Africa and Asia as a reporter-photographer, he moved into writing for several magazines. He continued writing for several magazines until he founded the monthly magazine Micro Simulateur in 1992, a magazine specialising in flight simulation. After several years of writing and translating computer books, flight simulation, virtual reality, and computer-generated imagery, he resumed photography in the 2000s, specialising in street photography. A regular contributor to Le Monde de la Photo magazine, he also contributes to Profession Photographe magazine.
