Christine was born in Galicia, a Celtic land in the northwest of Spain. Her horizon is the sea. After growing up and pursuing a career in Paris in the field of finance, she settled in the Rhône Alpes region where her life took a turn. She discovered a passion for painting when she discovered Brueghel, the Pre-Raphaelites and especially Rousseau who will be the trigger. Self-taught, using traditional oil methods, she paints characters, animals and scenes of life in a naive style. Carried by her imagination, she very freely expresses her vision of a peaceful and reassuring world in a non-academic reality.
