Born in Provence and resident in Nantes by adoption, Julie was a bookseller for more than 15 years before embarking on the adventure of textile design. From this past, she has kept a taste for the stories she tells through the choice of materials used: lace from her grandmother, fabrics found by her mother, or pieces brought back from travels... always natural (linen, cotton, silk...). Her aesthetic draws from her Mediterranean roots, Nature and her travels: transparency and chromatic vibrations. She creates light fixtures, paintings and then begins to embroider on paper, thus opening up a joyful field of possibilities. Thus were born her first postcards that she declines to infinity mixing graphics, text and embroidery.
