After graduating with a degree in Graphic Design and Advertising, specialising in Graphic Illustration, Nicola Evans, the artist who creates under the name Peony Rose Design, began her career as an illustrator, her childhood dream. Since then, her illustrations have been published by publishers worldwide. 

Nicola works from her garden studio in a coastal village in East Sussex where she lives with her husband, two children, and their cat Bluebell. She often draws her inspiration from her surroundings. Her studio is her own creative space where she can be found at all hours with a cup of tea in one hand, happily experimenting and exploring new techniques and materials, and best of all, making as much mess as she likes!
